Used for automatic placing of turnouts on the track intersections.

• Places a turnout on the intersection of two or more tracks. Trims the secondary alignments.
• Different turnout definitions can be selected for placement.
• If the calculated angle is not the same as the one defined for the turnout;
  • If the difference is small the tool will place the turnout but a kink will occur.
  • If the distance is too great the turnout will not be placed.
• If there is not enough space to place a turnout the tool will fail.

Workflow

From the Display rail placement tools, select Fit Turnout to start the tool.

1. Select template.
2. Datapoint to select main line.
3. Datapoint to select branch line.
4. Select turnout orientation. Datapoint to accept.
